Lary Rauh (born in 2000) is a Multidisciplinary Artist from Germany, but currently based in London. Her practice oscillates across staged and documentary photography, moving image, photographic objects and sculpture. Thematically, the interrogation of aesthetic capitalism’s impact on natural spaces, communities and individuals constitutes the core of her work. Fashion often takes center stage, symbolic of both need and desire fueling the extraction of resources. Her work bridges the past and anticipated futures, inviting audiences to recognize beauty in the pre-existing resources all around, but not without a reminder of the precarious situation humankind finds itself in. Rauh is currently pursuing an MA in Fashion Photography at the University of the Arts London until September 2026.
